WOW !!! Thats the only thing I could think from the news of today. For anyone that has been following this blog (lol), Ive been gone too long, but Im back. I guess no one on either side can talk about "experience" without being hypocritical. So the new buzzword is "judgement" on both sides. It would seem that the social issues are again going to be on the forefront. But given the current economic and foreign policy issues dogging the whole world, is this a good thing ? Also, where does feminism fit in to this picture ? Gov. Palin is certainly a successful woman who has managed family and career lives. Id love to hear from fellow politicos and yes I will be around this time.

It has become apparent with the lack of an incumbent having a shot at the coveted cushy whitehouse gig, we are off to the races early. The coming election promises to be one of the most expensive and unique theatrical events in the history of this great nation. There are potential record breaking outcomes (the first African-American president, the first woman president, etc). The second possibility has still other once in a lifetime repurcussions that will be discussed in a later post. So bloggers such as myself are going to have a field day over the next few days/weeks/months. Hope to hear from fellow politicos. Best and happy blogging.
